The cylinder head assembly is an important part of the engine, and its structure is more complex. It is mainly composed of cylinder head body, inlet, exhaust passage, Combustion Chamber, valve seat ring, valve guide, spark plug mounting hole and other parts. The cylinder head body acts as the infrastructure to provide installation support for other components. The inlet is responsible for guiding air or a mixture of air and fuel into the combustion chamber, and the exhaust passage will discharge the exhaust gas after combustion. The combustion chamber is the space where the fuel is burned, and its shape and size have an important effect on the performance of the engine. The valve seat ring fits with the valve to ensure tightness when the valve is closed, and the valve guide provides precise guidance for the up and down movement of the valve. The spark plug mounting hole is used to install the spark plug and provide an ignition source for combustion. ​

Function:
Sealing effect: the cylinder head and the cylinder block are tightly combined through the gasket to form a sealed combustion chamber to prevent gas leakage and ensure the normal compression ratio and combustion process of the engine. If the seal is poor, it will lead to a decrease in engine power, an increase in fuel consumption, and even an inability to work normally. ​
Gas distribution: Precise control of intake and exhaust processes. At the intake stroke, the intake valve opens and the fresh mixture enters the combustion chamber through the intake port; At the exhaust stroke, the exhaust valve opens and the exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust channel. Proper airway design can optimize gas flow and increase charging efficiency, thus improving engine performance. ​
Cooling and heat dissipation: the cooling water channel is provided inside the cylinder head, in which the coolant circulates to take away the large amount of heat generated by combustion, prevent the cylinder head from being damaged due to overheating, and ensure that the engine runs within the appropriate temperature range.
